The imported Cecilia Shantung Espadrille has a 2.5 inch woven raffia wedge heel with shiny silk shantung. The vamp has crisscrossing straps and an open toe silhouette. The insole is lined with raffia, while the outsole has rubber pads to give traction and comfort.
The Celestine Espadrille, made in exotic Spain, also has a woven raffia wedge heel but is 4 inches and with modern metallic stripes that wrap around the ankle for easy slip-on. To give added comfort and traction, Ralph Lauren added suede and rubber tubs onto the outsole. The heel is padded with leather and is printed “Lauren Ralph Lauren.”
